Welcome to Puff's Page
Puff the magic dragon who lived by the sea and frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honalee... Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff.
Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sails....Jackie kept a lookout perched on Puff's gigantic tail. Noble kings and princes would bow whene'er they came....Pirate ships would lower their flags when Puff roared out his name.
A dragon lives forever but not so little boys...painted wings and giant swings make way for other toys. One gray night it happened....Jackie Paper came no more. And Puff that mighty dragon he ceased his mighty roar.... His head was bent in sorrow...green scales fell like rain. Puff no longer went to play along the cherry lane. Without his lifelong friend Puff could not be brave... So Puff that magic dragon sadly slipped into his cave.
I chase a rainbow from my chair
While butterflies land in your hair
When we sit here reading our book.
I hunt the riches of the Amazon
While you enjoy its view at dawn
When we sit here reading our book.
I fight the knights of medieval yore
While you learn of my castle's lore
When we sit here reading our book.
I dream of moats and ladies fair
While you kiss frogs to princes rare
When we sit here reading our book
Books can take us far and wide
While you still sit here by my side
And together we enjoy our book.
